Players are now introduced with two new mechanics for this Act: Skill Effects and the Mid-Fight Struggle , in which the former provides the player with advantages of having certain Drive effects active by using a certain skill i. To keep players on their toes even more, this Act will prompt a Mid-Fight Struggle sequence unannounced- in which players must mash either their left and right mouse buttons or the left and right directional buttons on their keyboards within a certain time period to win that sequence.
If successful, players are granted a free but small amount of damage dealt to Seelkadoom without expending any Chaos Gauge stacks on their part.
But if they fail, they risk taking that damage instead of Seelkadoom. This becomes more frequent when Seelkadoom is on lower health and also prompts Seelkadoom to use stronger attacks as well. Normal Attack Hyper Sonic Ricochet - Hyper Sonic starts ricocheting on the hallway floor and ceiling several times with his spindash ability and rockets towards Seelkadoom, knocking him upwards.
Meet Your Maker - Seelkadoom charges at Hyper Sonic and does a strong back kick, then follows up with a Double Updraft Kick similar to Sonic Updraft to the ceiling and finishes it off with an Eagle Kick to knock him down on the ground. Vanity - Seelkadoom unleashes a blue sphere of Chaos Energy that he fires at Hyper Sonic, that he is then prepared to deflect back at them if he tries to redirect it at Seelkadoom. Penumbra Moonsault - Seelkadoom sends his target to the air with a kick, and spindashes towards them at great speed from above and then , dealing immense damage.
Lance of Time - Seelkadoom strikes Hyper Sonic with a purple Chaos Spear-like projectile that stops time when hit, then performing several attacks afterwards. Osmosian Onslaught - Seelkadoom does a barrage of combos, and unleashes his own variant of Sonic's Humming Top attack, then finishes it off with a spindash. The player is now introduced to a slew of new mechanics after the First Act, that they now must use, learn and utilize towards beating Seelkadoom in this Act.
Donning HP, a slightly more aggressive AI and a slew of new and stronger attacks; Seelkadoom will punish players who haphazardly rush in trying to beat him. They are advised to take time to learn how the new Skills and their respective Effects work, and use this knowledge to create combinations of one-use buffs with certain Drives to deal damage and stay alive longer.
The Mid-Fight Struggle sequences will prompt players to stay vigilant, as these events can happen unannounced, and can either lead to good or bad consequences depending if they succeed or not during the sequence. Successfully beating the Mid-Fight Struggles will reward players with free damage dealt to Seelkadoom HP worth of damage and provide more ample breathing room in planning their next move.
Be advised: if players fail the sequence, they will risk getting said damage dealt to themselves in the process, further risking a loss at Seelkadoom's hands. Knuckle Drive and Mighty Drive are also viable options, depending on the fight style of certain players. Hyper Drive will be safer to use in this Act, as the temporary buffs it gives will save your skin given the right circumstance.
In "Sonic Must Die" Mode, Seelkadoom will act the same way as he did in Act 1- except he is even more aggressive, and will usually start his first attack with either Osmosian Onslaught or Lance of Time.
To make things worse, he will use these respective attacks alongside Penumbra Moonsault more often than his other plethora of moves, and with a higher damage output Seelkadoom can effectively two-shot players with consecutive uses of Osmosian Onslaught or Lance of Time , respectively.

Boasting a whopping HP, a very aggressive AI, and a slew of all-new powers and techniques at his disposal- Apex Seelkadoom is a powerhouse who will punish players with merciless abandon, should they even make the most minute of errors.
Utilizing a new set of Skills with the same Effects as Act 2, players are now required to utilize what they learned in Act 2, and to prepare themselves for a very long fight.
To make things much more intense, Apex Seelkadoom has access to his very own Drive System - which will allow him to randomly apply a certain buff that he can keep on at any time until he decides to use another to overwrite his current buff Prance of the Apex for Sonic Drive , Wrath of the Apex for Knuckle Drive , Bulwark of the Apex for Mighty Drive and really dish out serious punishment to players.
His already aggressive AI will be amped up further to make him attack much more frequently, and would often fall on two tactics: either repeatedly using low-damaging attacks against you to attack consecutively, or use his much stronger attacks from the get-go, especially in lower health values. Phase 1 is where the fight starts off as normal, Phase 2 is where he starts to use his own Drive System to make things more difficult for players, and Phase 3 causes Apex Seelkadoom to turn the remainder of the fight into a race against time- as he created a D.

They don't come around often. LOVE's nice, but not really a stable platform - for example, the version Ubuntu comes with is incompatible with the version used to make this game.
