When you at the bottom you will see yourself in a secret room with two pipes. Both pipeslead to different rooms. After you get out ofone of the pipes you just went in, you will endup near the end of the level. To defeat a Roto-Disc you will need to bewearing a Tanooki Suit. After you have got aTanooki Suit, find a Roto-Disc and make it sothat it is underneath you.

Right before it hitsyou quickly turn into the statue by holding theDown and B button. Once it hits from underneathyou as a staue, the Roto-Disc will be defeated.

Jump down and take the stand infront of thechest. Hit the B button and you will get a whistle. To do this you need to have a Racoon Suit. Onceyou have the Racoon Suit, go near the end of thefirst room you appear in.

At the end of theroom, you should see a door and a Dry Bones. Quickly take out the Dry Bones and go near thedoor and run so you can fly until you can nolonger go up. While you're in the air, keepgoing right until you end up in a room with asmall chest holding a Warp Whistle. Once youhave the Warp Whistle you will not have to fightBoom, Boom. To make Dry Bones disappear, make him into apile of bones and the walk across the screenuntil you can no longer see him.

Destroy him and the Princess is safe once again! Like the original Super Mario Bros. Each world can, however, have up to a dozen different areas. To help you along there is a map of the world with the paths to and from the various areas. The first world, for example, is called the Grass Land.

Here Mario and Luigi travel through unfriendly terrain loaded with relatives of the old Goombas, various versions of the old turtles, and plenty of new characters as well! The second world, called Desert Hill, has lots of sand, pyramids, and palm trees.

The familiar Mario-eating piranha plants are back, but with a new twist! Some shoot fireballs at Mario! World three is Ocean Side and, like the ocean, there are tides which rise and fall. When the water is low, Mario can proceed as normal, but when the tides rise the land is overtaken by the ocean! Mario can continue running and jumping, but his progress is hindered by the waves.

That's just part of his problem, however, because waiting in the waters are giant man-eating fish who think Mario would be the perfect meal!
