The series' story is about a young rookie knight name Cecily Cambell, who had her family's sword broken while trying to protect villagers from a seemingly insane veteran swordsman.

Fortunately, she is saved by a somewhat cold blacksmith name Luke. Later Cecily comes to Luke's cottage to ask him to reforged her sword, but his answer was "no! But her attempt to fight the bandits end in failure. Of course, Luke and his helper Lisa arrive on the scene, and magically forge a blade to stop the remaining demon-bandit. After the disaster is over, Cecily and Luke agree about forging a new sword for her. But now, Cecily is an important task: to protect a sword that can take on a human shape called Aria.

I love little Lisa, I thought she's adorable. So as I said this series is an awesome fantasy series with superb animation and not to mention an adorable ending theme song.
