It's practically a brand-new game! The control is still perfect and the combo possibilities are at an all-time high. Do yourself a favor and plunk a few quarters into this one.

You'll be hooked. I enjoyed the playability of the first one and this new version has several new attributes that enhance the consistent game play. With doll-moves, power moves and dodging projectiles, this game is not just a plus but a full revision.

The four new characters are a great addition especially the added animal companion. Anyway you slice it SS2 is a superb fighting game with great innovations and action! Not only have my expectations for Samurai Shodown II been met, but they have also been surpassed.
